Zelle imposter scams are covered

Imposter scams fall under the 2023 Zelle policy. Ask for it by name, and if the bank says no, file with the CFPB.

Wire recalls work within 30 days

Ask the bank for a recall the same day, then file with FBI IC3.

Report to the exchange, then ReportFraud.ftc.gov and FBI IC3. Any service charging a fee to recover crypto is itself a scam, the FTC says so plainly.

1Call the bank or app now. Say “unauthorized transfer” and ask for a recall. Number to hand: your provider's fraud line.

2Report it once. ReportFraud.ftc.gov, two minutes. Then FBI IC3.
